The plumbing continues….

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2f58

The best one is when the sun was setting and they had just started. That is the Johnson County Clock Tower.

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2f32

Electrical-Plumbing

Not much happened this week . They continued to work on the electrical upstairs and the plumbing downstairs.

Here are some photos of where our water fountains will go.

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2f25

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2f24

Upstairs they continued to run the electrical.

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2f2bUNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2f2cUNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2f1c

This week will be more electrical, plumbing, and the HVAC build out. We should also find out the status for the window cutouts upstairs. We need those completed prior to ordering the emergency stairway on the West side of the building.

Stay tuned for more updates:)

Demolition Continues

We have a new power pole!!!! Oncor Electric finished installing the new power pole on the west side of the building. We are not sure but they may be leaving both poles in place to provide enough electric to our building and the buildings to the West. Either way it will not interfere with the emergency exit steps that will be installed along the side of the building. Starting this upcoming week, HVAC will start along with the remaining power and plumbing connections.

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2f02

This past weekend we finished what we could demolishing the remaining firing strips upstairs and the old electric motor that was installed on the Otis Material Lift. We needed to remove the motor to restore the lift back to its original installation which was hand powered. Once everything is complete we will encase the material lift with metal railing for safety and re-install new ropes.

Framing Continued

We have the start of walls upstairs. They have started framing out the bathroom, 1/2 bath, mechanical room, and the closet worthy of a queen:)

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2ec1

This is the closet area. When it’s done, it will be 16 x 17 and have a round couch in the middle with a large chandelier above it.

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2ec3

The shower area and Master Bath area. The shower will be all glass with the brick wall on one side.

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2ec5

The picture below shows the overall size of everything. These are going to be the only walls.Everything else will be wide open. The windows on the right side will be opened to bring in a lot of more natural lighting. If you look closely you can see the plumbing on the right where our kitchen island will be.

UNADJUSTEDNONRAW thumb 2ec6

And finally looking forward.Things are coming along! This shows the 1/2 bath and mechanical room entrance.
